Distribution is absolutely vital to the operation of the company. An efficient distribution network is fundamental to achieve the planned sales volume and sustain the desired growth. Through our distribution network, we are able to deliver products to the markets of the Iberian Peninsula, France and Italy, in short periods of time.

Ferreira da Silva has a license to transport merchandise, with the respective license number of International Transportation nº 10233/2004. Currently, the company operates a fleet of 15 heavy trucks, 16 trailers with isothermal box and equipped with refrigeration systems, 3 containers with a generator, 4 rigid, heavy lorries and 3 light duty trucks with isothermal box and refrigeration systems.

The increasing concern with the quality of marketed products and the lesser acceptance of the product "in bulk" have led to considerable investments into the sizing, selection and packaging machinery.

As a result, Ferreira da Silva is able to meet increasing quality requirements set by big distribution companies, namely, big distribution chains and supermarkets for which the concept of quality becomes more important in their choice of suppliers.
