Celery Freshness and versatility at the table

Celery (Apium graveolens) is an aromatic plant from the Apiaceae family, widely appreciated for its versatility. All its parts can be consumed:

  • Root – used in soups and broths, it adds a distinctive flavor.

  • Stalk – crisp and fresh, ideal for salads and for the famous Bloody Mary cocktail.

  • Leaves – used as a seasoning, similar to parsley, they add a special touch to any dish.

With a rich history, celery also carries cultural symbolism. During the Jewish Passover (Pessach), the root is placed on the Seder plate and eaten with salted water as Karpas, representing the “fruit of the earth.”

Nutritious, refreshing, and full of tradition, celery is a perfect ally for those seeking healthy and authentic flavors.
